November 2013 Austin, Lake Travis & Highland Lakes Area News & info
Here in the Austin and Central Texas Hill Country areas, cooler weather is upon us! I think we hit freezing temperatures one evening this week, but of course by Sunday, it will be 80 degrees during the day again. As always in Central Texas, just wait a few days and the weather will change.
This is a great time to visit the Austin and Central Texas Hill Country areas. And, it may be a great time to look at real estate, too. Many of our buyers are interested in relocating to our area, buying a second home or retiring here. Let us know if you have any quesitons, would like a relocation guide or we will be happy to set you up on an automatic search so you can see what is available with your criteria and budget. Many areas find Sellers getting top dollar with quick offers, so get a market analysis of your property if you are thinking of selling - it may be a great time to sell, too. We have some great programs for First Time Buyers as well.
Interest rates remain super low, jumbo loans are now easier to get and VA financing to eligible borrowers is still at 100%. Check out our
recent blog post about VA financing and available property tax discounts for Disabled Veterans. You deserve to take advantage of all the resources available to you. Contact us for more information - we are happy to help.
Congratulations to
Karen Guillot who just recently completed her training to be a member of "A" Team with Coldwell Banker United to work with
USAA MoversAdvantage members. It is a great program and all of our REALTOR(R) Team Members are qualified. It's a great opportunity to work with a highly trained agent and get a cash back rebate after closing, whether you are buying or selling (or both!). We also offer Cash Back Programs for Educators, First Responders, and Medical Personnel, in addition to these Military oriented rebates.
Just ask, you may qualify!
We hope you enjoy reading about information and events in our Austin/Lake Travis and Highland Lakes Areas.
Have a Happy, Healthy and Safe Thanksgiving this year!
