We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Chef Taylor Hall to present a special Easter luncheon and wine pairing on Sunday April 4th at 1.00 p.m. The menu will consist of four courses. First, we will serve a mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, poached pears, herbed chevre and candied pecans. Second course will be a seafood appetizer of shrimp and grits with a jalapeno cream sauce, crispy bacon and roasted garlic. The entree will be a choice of roasted beef tenderloin with a bordelaise sauce, or roasted lamb chops with a red wine au jus. Both entrees will be accompanied by black truffle-parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus (please make entree choice when placing your ticket order). There will be lavender crusted lemon tartlets with raspberry syrup and fresh berries for dessert. Each course will be wonderfully paired with one of our wines, and for our Estate Sauvignon Blanc fans out there this will be your first chance to sample the 2008 vintage. The price is $75.00 per ticket. Please call the vineyard to reserve tickets for this limited seating luncheon at 830-693-5328.
